What people are saying
"I live in Volcano but recently purchased some of your salsa at Island Gourmet in Waikoloa Queen's Marketplace. It was ono!"
Meg Volcano, Hawaii
"I ran across this salsa … at the beginning of our vacation. It was absolutely amazing! We bought some blue corn chips at a local market and along with local avocados, we were able to snack on this the entire week were in Kona. It was fresh and mighty tasty."
Debbie - Maple Valley, Washington
"Best salsa I’ve ever had and I’m used to good salsa."
Tom - San Diego, California
"We love your salsa! I brought home to mild to test on my family and they agree that this is about that we have tasted from the local brands and way better than the "national" crap! The things we noticed is that it does stick to the chip, isn’t just a bunch of liquid with big chunks. Really is like my Mexican grandmother used to make at home!"
Cathy - Pahoa, Hawaii
Welcome to Paradise Salsa!
The District of Ka’u on Hawaii Island is known for world renowned coffee, macadamia nuts and now fresh island salsa. The home of Paradise Salsa is nestled in the beautiful Waiohinu hills on the western slope of Mauna Loa. The district of Ka’u is the size of the Island of Oahu but with only 1% of Oahu’s population. The unhurried life style of Ka’u is often referred to as the last of "Old Hawaii."
Paradise Salsa was created in this beautiful place with only the most high quality ingredients possible. You may pay a little more for Paradise Salsa but what you get in return is an intensely fresh tasting product that works just by itself or in many recipes. We will continue to add to our recipe page as we kitchen test them and become happy enough with them to recommend them to you.
People ask all the time, “Is it Hot?” No, it is not. It is Almost Hot and Almost Mild. That is to say Paradise Salsa is about flavor and not heat. The Almost Mild is not tomato sauce. It has enough spice to tingle the palate without offending those seeking a mild flavor. Almost Hot magnifies the taste of Almost Mild but does not damage the body as many hot salsas do. You will not need to recover from eating Almost Hot but can instead enjoy its multi layered taste and eat as much as you desire with no ill effects.

We wish you a sincere mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for trying Paradise Salsa. Our ohana (family) also sends our aloha to you in every container of Paradise Salsa.
